The Lincoln-Woodstock Community Resource Center (LWCRC) was initially created through a Rotary Grant in cooperation with The Bridge Project in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for sharing resources throughout the community.

The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us there is a wealth of resources available to the LincolnWoodstock community, and our community members are caring and generous, for which we are incredibly fortunate. At the same time, we learned that the identification, organization, and scheduling of those resources is can be time consuming and takes a type of human resource that had not previously been accounted for.

The LWCRC aspires to be a one-stop entity that organizes, delivers, supplies, drives, loads, and dispatches resources to meet the needs of the underserved families in our community who have been identified, qualified, and funded by these resources. We have created an inventory of supplies necessary for the safe distribution of aid in the community beginning with personal protection equipment, food delivery containers, hand sanitizer, and LWCRC identification materials, and expanding to other resources to meet different types of community needs as and when they occur.

Our network of partner organizations provide additional funding where needed, but more importantly identify and qualify families and individuals in need, as well as work with the Lincoln-Woodstock Community Resource Center to administer, dispatch, and deliver solutions to individuals who have been identified. Volunteer resources are on call to serve and care as needed, providing what the community truly needs: a mobilized and coordinated network of volunteers.
